Energy Efficiency Training Sessions

DEKA Group conducted a series of training sessions for energy efficiency specialists as part of the internship program under the BOOST project, “Enterprises and Organizations in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Operating on a Sustainable Basis.”

The BOOST project’s internship program aims to build the capacity of young specialists from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the fields of energy efficiency and energy conservation. By organizing these training events, the project initiators intend to cultivate a pool of energy conservation professionals within private sector enterprises.

The selection of the DEKA Group team as trainers was deliberate; each of the company’s experts possesses extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge valuable to early-career specialists. The training sessions took place in the city of Osh in April and June 2022. Extensive educational activities are also being conducted remotely.

The curriculum developed by DEKA Group covers up-to-date information on legislation, standardization, and the organization of enterprise energy audits. Interns will be able to refine the skills necessary to significantly enhance their professional competencies. Specifically, they will learn to classify heat losses and select methods to mitigate them; calculate the energy efficiency of technical and technological measures for energy conservation and system optimization; and assess the economic feasibility of implementing energy-saving measures.
